Capital Football is calling for nominations after a number of vacancies have arisen across the North Region Council and the Referees Standing Advisory Committee.
There are currently two vacancies on the North Region Council and up to three vacancies on the Referees Standing Advisory Committee (RSAC).
During their meeting on 26 February 2020, the Capital Football Board discussed the vacancies across the Committees and after considering the By-laws, decided to re-engage with the football community to identify nominees.
Consequently, Capital Football is asking the football community to nominate individuals to fill the casual vacancies until the 31 October 2020.
Capital Football CEO Phil Brown said both the North Region Council and the Referees Standing Advisory Committee play an important role.
“The Committees provide Capital Football and the Board with a number of important functions centred around strategic direction, leadership, facilitating communication and contributing to the growth and promotion of football within the region,” Mr Brown said.
“The Capital Football Board welcomes expressions of interest from anyone interested in filling a vacancy on the Committees.”
Clubs may submit expressions of interest on behalf of individuals, individuals can submit expressions of interest themselves or individuals can express interest for other individuals. In each scenario, the consent of the person being nominated is required.
Expressions of Interest for the Committees can be sent via email to Capital Football CEO Phil Brown.
