Its been a busy time in the coaching world with capital Football finalising courses at the B-Diploma and C-Diploma levels as well as a Foundation of Football course as the next generation of coaching talent continues to develop.
Ten coaches took part in the he Foundation of Football course, hosted by Canberra Croatia, a course aimed at volunteer parents and coaches working with advanced beginner to competent level players or players aged up to approximately fifteen years old.
Coaches participated in practical sessions covering the basics of techniques as well as learning about basic playing principles of the game, undertaken a level that is a prerequisite for the Football Australia/AFC C Diploma.
A group of twenty coaches recently completed their C-Diploma, aimed at coaches working with advanced beginner to competent level players, whilst a similar sized group completed their B-Diploma, the next step on the coaching pathway.
Capital Football Coaching Courses aim to increase the coach’s knowledge and develop skills in the preparation, organisation, and administration of safe, age-related training sessions. Each course was hosted by Phil Booth, Capital Football’s Technical Director.
