CAPITAL FOOTBALL WORLD CUP LEGACY PROJECT

The Capital Football World Cup Legacy Project is designed to support clubs to celebrate the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023TM with initiatives that will inspire female football players of today and tomorrow.

How can your club get involved?

STEP ONE:

Appoint a Female Football Club Ambassador:

This role will oversee the football experience for female players at the club. They will be the point of contact for all programs, initiatives, and services related to female football. All clubs that appoint an ambassador will receive a FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023TM Pack (including bunting, posters, pins, bouncy balls, t-shirts, books and tote bags) and will be eligible for rewards allocated to the completion of step two.

STEP TWO:

Choose a project/s to support and promote female participation in football.

Eligible projects include:

MiniRoos Kick Off: Host a MiniRoos Kick Off program targeting girls’ participation at your club and receive a share of $10,000 worth of Rebel Sport vouchers to be used towards support and promotion of female football.

Watch Party: Host a World Cup watch party at your club and receive a share of $5,000 worth of eftpos vouchers to fund your party. To apply for funding, email katie.woodman@capitalfootball.com.au with the time, date, and location of your party. 

Green and Gold Training: Host a Green and Gold training session at your club and receive a share of $5,000 worth of eftpos vouchers to be used towards support and promotion of female football at your club.
