A huge 165 teams will take to the floor to compete across seven competitions as the 2025 Capital Football Futsal Schools Cup takes centre stage at Lyneham Netball Centre beginning this Wednesday morning.
Players from across the capital will represent their schools in the fast-paced, five-a-side form of the game with ethe winners of each competition having the opportunity to go to Football Queensland School Futsal Championships or Football NSW Futsal Schools State Championships.
Action commences on Wednesday 23 July as the Year 5/6 Girls take to the court, their boys counterparts doing so in Northside and Southside editions on the Thursday and Friday, the latter of which will be played at the Canberra Futsal Centre in Fadden.
A week later it’s the turn of the senior students to display their talents in the name of their schools, the Year 11 and 12 cohorts taking to the Lyneham venue on Wednesday 30 July for what is always a keenly contested event.
Moving into late July and early August, the Year 7/8 Girls and Boys will get their chance to shin on Thursday 31 July and Thursday 7 August, whilst Year 9/10 Boys and Girls take part on Wednesday 6 August.
