Last month, the ACT Government announced record funding available to Canberra community sporting organisations through the 2026 Sport and Recreation Investment Scheme.

There is over $4 million in funding available for Canberra’s sports facilities and clubs, the scheme has two programs, the Community Sports Facilities Program and the Club Enhancement Program.

Capital Football encourages our clubs to consider applying for the Club Enhancement Program, which has been designed to further develop services and programs through purchasing of equipment, training and/or improvements that increase a club’s capability, capacity and accessibility.

Applications are now open and will close on 17 October 2025.
