COMPETITION COORDINATOR (FUTSAL)


We are searching for a confident and motivated Competition Coordinator – Futsal, to join our team.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Competition Coordinator (Futsal) role will be responsible for the delivery of Futsal competitions and growth in the ACT and surrounding regions. The successful candidate will lead all Futsal related activities and be the key point of contact for enquiries regarding these competitions. 

In this role you will:

  • Lead all Capital Football governed Futsal competitions, including:
    • Capital Futsal League (CFL)
    • Junior Capital Futsal League (JCFL)
    • Junior Social Futsal
    • Senior Social Futsal
    • Futsal School Cups
  • Oversee staffing of Venue Managers for Futsal Competitions.
  • Source new venues for the growth of Futsal.
  • Promote, advocate for, and support the Futsal community and engage in consultation processes.
  • Develop and review competition regulations.
  • Engage new participants through innovative and exciting Futsal opportunities.
  • Retain current participants through creating positive experiences.

ABOUT YOU

  • You will hold, or be able to gain an ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card.
  • You will be a proven leader with experience coordinating and managing sports competitions.
  • You will challenge our expectations and brings new and exciting ideas to create awesome member experiences.
  • You will have the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • You are able to work creatively, under pressure and to strict timelines.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Sport Management, Event Management or similar are desirable.
