Introducing the Capital Football Scouting Network, an Australia-first initiative to be implemented through Football Australia’s Shinny App.

This is being trialled with all coaches who have attended a recognised FA TDS event to become a CF Scout.

Scouts can be Emerging Championship Head Coaches, TDS Coaches, or any other coaches or scouts that express interest to CF, attend an FA TDS scouting event, are approved and complete all CF Scouting Requirements.

How it works: A CF-approved scout can be present at any match, and if a standout performer is identified, the scout can then enter in a report via the Shinny App, which will be fed back to Capital Football.

CF-approved scouts will be able to perform their duties under the organisation for a 1-year tenure.

 

All CF Scouts are required to:

• Link their WWVP to Capital Football

• Have read and understood all CF Player Selection Policies and 6 P’s Criteria for Player Selection, as well as CF Scout Code of Conduct, Procedures and Regulations.
• Have undertaken Sports Integrity Australia Child and Young Player Safeguarding E-Learning (https://elearning/sportintegrity.gov.au/user_login).
• Have completed a First Aid certificate

CF Scouting Identification

All CF Scouts will be provided with an Identification Card that they must have with them at all times whilst performing their duties. These ID cards will include First and Last name, ID number, Card issue date, (one year post card issue date).
