Capital Football is proud to today announce the launch of its new Club Coach Coordinator Program (CCC). Run in conjunction with the Football Federation Australia (FFA), the program was born from an initiative of the FFA and the Australian Sports Commission and is to be a nationally rolled-out program.
The CCC aims to create a positive impact on player retention, satisfaction and experience by providing community coaches with the skills, resources and support to deliver fun, well-structured learning environments (training sessions).
The CCC will support clubs via bench-marking best practice coaching structures and deploying experienced coach developers to local club grounds at times that are convenient to the volunteer base that is the lifeblood of grassroots sport.
Capital Football have employed two Club Coach Coordinators to facilitate the program in the ACT region.
Mat Byrne will oversee the program in the Southside region, while Steve Ujdur will oversee it in the Northside region.
