Capital Football have unfortunately had to make the decision to cancel all Capital League Opens (CLO) and Junior League U10 – U15 matches today, Saturday 26 July.

We have received confirmation from clubs regarding a large majority of venues being unsafe for play due to waterlogging, hence the decision to cancel CLO, Junior League and MiniRoos (U10 – U15).

All Junior League U16 – U18 matches will proceed as scheduled at venues that have not been closed due to the wet weather this morning.

Please note, that the decision to cancel all CLO games has occurred to maintain the integrity of the competition, with only minimal timing left before the finals’ series commencing and a large number of matches already needing to be rescheduled prior to this weekend’s cancellations.

Further to this, per the weather forecast for today, there is more rain predicted which will only further negatively impact the playing fields.

Unfortunately, we are also facing issues with Dribl being down, and working through solutions to ensure all information can be communicated as required.
