November 19th and 20th

Leverrier St, Bruce ACT 2617

The FFA in cooperation with Capital Football is once again pleased to announce the upcoming annual State Coaching Conference to be held on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20th November. This year we welcome FFA Technical Director Eric Abrams. We will also be joined by the FFA's Head of Community and Women's Football Emma Highwood to present a woman’s update and review and Les Bee FFA’s National Community Coach Development Manager.

This one and a half day conference will attract 50 points towards reaccreditation and will be theory and practical based.

The concept of the FFA State Coaching Conferences was first developed after the National Coaching Conferences in 2008, 2009 and 2010 in Sydney and Brisbane.

The Capital Football Coaching Conference is suitable for both Community and Advanced coaches of all levels of experience and accreditation. The conference will feature a highly credentialed team of national technical presenters.

The 2016 agenda will incorporate theory and practical sessions with a focus exclusively on ‘Player Centred Learning’. Attendance at the conference will also count for 50 Points towards coaching re-accreditation for coaches holding advanced coaching licences.

Conference Location

The 2016 conference will utilise the AIS Gold Room, Australian Institute of Sport, Leverrier Street Bruce ACT.

The AIS Gold Room is with the Conference Facilities Building at the AIS, located within Building 14.
