The Capital Football Technical Committee is comprised of the Capital Football Technical Director, and a representative from each of the NPL Clubs (either the Technical Director or Club Coaching Coordinator) and where invited the FFA National Technical Director.
Capital Football is committed to providing an opportunity for the regions aspiring young players to achieve their football ambitions via the ACT representative teams.
We acknowledge the vital role NPL clubs play in the development of players. We also acknowledge that the CUA is a development program, and not the only path an individual may select in their journey from grassroots to representative player.
For those reasons it is important a clear and transparent process is established that enables players from a broad range of programs to seek an opportunity to represent the ACT on the national stage.
To oversee the player pathway, Capital Football have established a Technical Committee. The Committee will provide recommendations to Capital Football regarding the selection of coaches, identification process for players and preparation programs for teams representing the ACT at the NTC and NYC competitions.
