Girls United Football 7's

Capital Football is proud to announce its new summer football initiative, Girls United Football 7’s. Girls United Football 7’s is a 7-a-side competition aimed at female high school students and will consist of six rounds throughout term four of 2015. The mini summer competition allows female players the chance to play with their friends in a fun social atmosphere. It also provides junior female referees the chance to be mentored and female coaches to gain a little extra coaching experience.

If you are one of the following, then Girls United Football 7’s is perfect for you:

  • Not ready to hang your boots up after the season?
  • Enjoy playing football, with school and club friends?
  • Enjoy playing football in a fun and friend-ly environment?
  • Can’t commit to a full season, but would enjoy playing in a competition?
  • Your school team would like to get in a little extra practice?

AGE GROUPS
Girls United 7’s will consist of two age divisions:

  • Year 7/8 and

  • Year 9/10- just like at the school’s football carnivals!

DATES, TIMES and VENUES

  • Monday (Year 7/8, 9/10 divisions North side) - October 19th, October 26th, November 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, December 7th Southwell Park (Lyneham).

  • Wednesday (Year 7/8, 9/10 divisions South side) - October 21st, October 28th, November  4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, December 2nd, 9th Wanniassa Playing Fields.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

  • All games will commence at 4:30pm and will consist of 2x 25minute halves and a 5 minute half time break.

Teams must be made up of players who all attend the same high school and your team name must include your school name in some form. Teams must have a minimum of 10 players.

Team nominations must be submitted before COB Monday 12th October. Team registrations costs $300/team to cover the cost of referees, ground hire, venue manages and admin. This equates to approx. $30/player depending on team numbers. Payment method options and information will be sent out along with confirmation of your registration being received. Payments are due no later than Monday 19th October.
